The UNO series positioners from MmWaveTest are mast-based spherical azimuth-roll-roll antenna positioners designed with a focus on quality. By mounting the DUT from the rear in the azimuth-roll positioner and pairing it with a separate roll mast to maintain constant polarization with the DUT, this setup achieves excellent results as it is free from the reflection shadows in a dual arm positioner. All UNO positioners, even the smallest models, use instrument-grade azimuth and roll drives with strength, high repeatable precision, and low backlash. They are built with quality in mind to ensure longevity even under daily use. UNO3 is the most compact spherical positioner from mmWave Test Solutions. It is designed for over-the-air (OTA) antenna measurements and is sized for even the smallest desktop anechoic chambers. Despite being the smallest in the UNO family, it still uses a quality azimuth platform with built-in slipring, has a roll motor at the base to minimize stray reflections near the DUT, and is built with care and attention to quality. The Spherical Positioner Kit consists of the UNO3 2-axis roll-azimuth positioner with a matching 1-axis roll antenna mast.

DUT / AUT dimensions

In a spherical setup, it can support DUTs up to 2.5 kg (3.3 lb.,) and a width/diameter of 36 cm (14"). Configured as a single-arm azimuth-elevation positioner, it can hold a DUT of 1.2 kg (2.5 lb) and a width of 20 cm (8 ").
