Indoor 10/100/1000 Base-T Shielded CAT6 PoE Compatible Lightning Protector - RJ45

The HGLN-CAT6J shielded indoor lightning protector provides superior lightning and surge protection with improved frequency response for indoor 10/100/1000 Ethernet networks. The use of ultra-low capacitance semiconductor protection arrays provides superior high frequency response and improved return loss for the fthis data pairs. The unit has low line to line and line to ground capacitance to minimize distortion of high-speed signals. The design provides protection for both common and differential mode surges.

The HGLN-CAT6J is compatible with 802.3af/at Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices. It supports PoE mode A and B for power as well as supporting normal and reverse polarity PoE used in some Cisco Access Points. The HGLN-CAT6J is compatible with wireless Access Points, Bridges, Client Adapters and Network Appliances with or without Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) functionality.

EMI Noise Suppression

• The HGLN-CAT6J features shielded RJ45 jacks. This along with the HGLN-CAT6J's metal housing helps reduce the effects of EMI interference. Additional features include a ground lug and terminal is provided directly on the lightning protector housing providing superior grounding. For maximum protection from lightning on long cable runs, two HGLN-CAT6J can be used, one at each end of the cable.

The cast aluminum housing includes integral mounting feet for ease of installation
