The DUO series positioners from MmWaveTest are dual-armed antenna positioners designed with precision and quality in mind. By mounting the DUT on the plate in the dual-arm setup, the DUO positioners can handle a high load in a small form factor. This is ideal to test heavy devices accurately in small anechoic chambers. All DUO positioners use instrument-grade azimuth and roll drives with strength, high repeatable precision, and low backlash. They are built with quality in mind to ensure longevity even under high load in daily use. The DUO5.5 is a super-sized DUO5 positioner, the largest dual-arm positioner in the DUO range, and is designed for over-the-air (OTA) antenna measurements. With a total arm width of 105 cm, it is ideal to handle very large and heavy DUTs and be used in walk-in anechoic chambers on a pedestal. It is mounted on an azimuth platform with built-in slipring, and the dual-arm design has both motors at the base to minimize stray reflections near the DUT.

DUT / AUT dimensions

Supports DUTs exceeding 18 kg (40 lb.) and widths of 83 cm (32" ) while maintaining high repeatable precision.
